ENGLAND World Cup winner Roger Hunt was on hand to help Warrington Town manager Joey Dunn celebrate being presented with the Evo-Stik Division One North Manager of the Month award for February.
Roger, who spent four years at Warrington Town, before being scouted by Liverpool, was special guest at the club’s match with Radcliffe Borough when Joey was presented with his award by Evostik League Representative John Beaumont (right).
The England World Cup winner is an honorary vice president of his home town club and has never forgotten his grassroots.
He was delighted to see Warrington secure a 3-1 victory to keep in touch with a play off place.
Dunn received his award in recognition of taking the club on a run of eleven games unbeaten, including three wins and a draw in February.
