Which World Cup team will we host?

WARRINGTON will learn on Thursday, March 22 which team it will host during next year’s Rugby League World Cup.
An announcement will be made at Warrington Wolves’ Halliwell Jones Stadium at 12 noon.
At the same time, a national announcement will be made by the Rugby League World Cup organisation at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
They will reveal which nations will be located in all the host towns and cities.
Warrington will host a group match and a quarter final, an international team base camp and training venue during the tournament.
The leaders of the three political groups on Warrington Borough Council, Wolves officials, players and fans will be present when the announcement is made at the Halliwell Jones.
It is expected the competition will provide a major economic boost for the town, with players, official and fans arriving from all over the world.
