World Cup winner supports Town

ENGLAND World Cup winner Roger Hunt will be special guest when his

former club Warrington Town take on Radcliffe Borough tomorrow, Tuesday,

kick off 7.45pm.
Roger played for Town at Cantilever Park in the 1950s before going on to play for Liverpool and England, winning the World Cup in 1966.
He will be a special guest of the club meeting Vice Presidents and sponsors, as Warrington look to continue their push for the end of season play-offs.
Roger was made an honorary vice president of the club as a thank for the ongoing support he has shown over the years.
he has never forgotten his footballing grassroots and still lives in the town.
He is pictured at a fund-raising dinner with the club’s footballing ambassador, ex-Man City star Gary Owen.
Prior to kick off Manager Joey Dunn will also be presented with his Evo-Stik Division One North Manager of the Month Award for February.
