Family fun day success

A BEE-themed family fun day with wildlife activities, games, workshops and stalls, was organised in Warrington.
The local branch of Friends of the Earth and Warrington Borough Council organised the day at the Pyramid Arts Centre. The friends group also launched its Wild About Warrington project.
And there were lots for people to enjoy including arts and crafts, a mini-Olympics, face painting and family Zumba class workshops.
There were also stalls by the RSPB and many other wildlife, green and health groups from across the region – and a visit from Warrington Wolves’ mascot Wolfie.
The Deputy Mayor of Warrington Cllr Steve Wright visited and enjoyed a tour of the activities.
