Nature walks – and saving the bee

0

NATURE walks, treasure trails, arts and crafts, cooking…all will feature in an educational event based on Warrington’s Pyramid Arts Centre.
The afternoon session will take place on February 15, organised by the borough council and the local branch of Friends of the Earth.
Cllr Kate Hannon, the council’s executive member for leisure, community and culture said: “The focus of this special event is the humble bee whose habitat is under threat because of how we are mistreating the environment.”
A screening of the film “Queen of the Sun,” will be held later that evening also at the Pyramid.
