Camper van torched

ARSONISTS set fire to a camper van parked outside the owner’s house at Warrington shortly before midnight.
The incident was in Mason Street, Howley, where the vehicle was parked in an alleyway between two houses.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with a hosereel jet after being called out by the owner, but the vehicle, which had been set alight at the rear, was severely damaged.
Police are investigating.
