A CAMPAIGNING “green” group at Warrington has received £47,000 funding to help save energy in the community.
Low Carbon Lymm has won the funding from the Government to enable them to encourage small businesses, community buildings and homes in the area to increase energy efficiency.
The group is looking for 250 homes (postcode WA13) to receive a free home survey from a qualified assessor. Each home will receive a report and details of how to save money on energy bills.
Homeowners can register their interest by calling 0800 512 012 or emailing [email protected]
In addition to the home assessments 20 small businesses and 10 community buildings will also be surveyed as part of the project.
Results will be presented at an event in March.
