Man's jaw broken in attack

A YOUTH has been arrested following a street attack in Warrington which left the victim with a broken jaw.
But police are still appealing for witnesses of the assault in Winwick Street, opposite the Lord Rodney pub, at 4.30am on Sunday, January 22.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, was walking along the road when he was approached by the offender.
There was an argument and the victim was then punched in the face.
He suffered a broken jaw and required hospital treatment.
A 17-year-old youth was later arrested but freed on bail, pending further enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information, which might assist officers with their enquiries, is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101.
