Lorry driver robbed

A sleeping lorry driver was robbed of cases of whiskey while parked up at the Poplars 2000 in Cliff Lane, Lymm near Warrington.
The victim – a 35-year-old lorry driver – had parked up at the services on the evening of December 19.
As he slept in his lorry access has been gained to the side of the trailer. The offenders have cut the curtain and removed a number of cases of whiskey.
The incident has taken place between 9.25pm on December 19 and 6.40am on December 20.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, knows the identity of the offenders or has any information, which might assist officers with their enquiries, is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 137 of 20 December.
