Concert of seasonal music

THE Tatton Singers will present their annual concert of Christmas music at St John’s Parish Church, Knutsford on Saturday, December 10.
This year, the choir, under the direction of John Powell, will be joined by pupils from Bexton Primary School, directed by Judith Evans
As usual there will be a number of carols, aimed at audience participation, as well as some other familiar and less well-known pieces.
Tickets can be obtained from choir members, on the door or by calling 01565 650641 and include a glass of wine or soft drink in the price. The concert starts at 7.30pm
The 70-strong choir has a busy programme lined up for December, including carols at East Cheshire Hospice, Tatton Hall and local community centres.
Founded in 1976, Tatton Singers is the only non-church choir in the Knutsford area. It has experienced, trained singers and others with little formal musical education – and always welcomes new members.
