Saturday soccer schools kick off

WARRINGTON Town FC’s new Saturday Morning Soccer Schools will kick off today (Saturday Nov 26) at Cantilever Park on the club’s new state of the art 3G community pitches.
Run by the club’s communiuty development officer James Standing the soccer schools will look at developing youngsters to play for the club’s junior section while also allowing children to have fun while learning about football.
There will be two sessions catering for different age groups ecah Saturday.
The first session takes place at 9:15am and children aged 4, 5 and 6 are all welcome to join in. It will last for an hour with participants being given free tickets to attend Warrington Town’s game in the afternoon.
The second session start at 10:30am until 11:30am and is aimed at children aged 7 to 12 years old who are not currently with a club. Once again, they will receive free tickets to Warrington Town fixtures while having fun through football.

Parents are advised to bring plenty of drink for the children and ensure the appropriate clothing is worn. Astroturf boots or trainers should be worn along with shin pads for the older age group.
Meanwhile Warrington Town first team will be in action against Garforth Town, kick off 3pm, looking to avenge a 6-0 drubbing in Yorkshire earlier in the season.
There is a special promotion allowing season ticket holders to bring a friend to the game for just £1 while other football club season ticket holders and Warrington Wolves season ticket holders, can also gain admission for just £1.
