WARTIME music and dancing is to be re-lived at Gulliver’s World, Warrington on April 21 next year thanks to members of the RAF Burtonwood Association.
Swing band the Crown Top Kings will put dancers through their paces while the best popular music from the decades will be played by GI Jive Record Hop.
Dancers at the nostalgic wartime dance will be urged to “dress to impress.”
The Swings and Wings Dance is being sponsored by the RAF Burtonwood Association, a not-for-profit association formed to uphold the memory of the men and women who served at RAF Burtonwood from 1940 to 1993.
Tickets are £10 and are available from John on 01925 227157, Bob 01925 223943 or Colin 01925 223552.
