THE Warrington and Burtonwood branch of charity group Chernobyl Children’s Life Line is to hold a fundraising event at Rylands Recreation Club, Gorsey Lane, Warrington on Thursday, November 24.
A seasonal Prize Bingo session will start at 7.30pm (doors open at 6.45pm).
Prizes will include days out, meals for four people, gift vouchers, hampers, etc – all donated by businesses in the Warrington area.
The charity aims to raise £7,000 each year to cover the cost of bringing 20 children from Chernobyl to Warrington in the summer.
