Traders mourn popular jeweller

TRADERS on Warrington Market have been mourning the tragic death of popular jeweller Peter Sarchet, proprietor of PJ’s Jewellers.
Peter, aged 41 (pictured), a father of three, was killed when his motor cycle was in collision with a car on the M65
He leaves his wife of 14 years, Jill, daughters Levi, 17 and Jessica, 13 and son Chris, 17.
Mrs Sarchet, said: “Peter was a devoted family man and lived for his children. He was loving, loyal, very hardworking and the core of our family.
“Everything he did was selfless and our loss cannot be described.
“He will be missed beyond words. He had many friends who have all told us of their sense of loss, once you had met him you would trust him implicitly.”
Peter had been in the jewellery business for 25 years and he and Jill established PJ’s Jewellers at Warrington in 2001.
Jill is to keep the business going.
She said: “Peter always wanted his customers to be happy and would want me to carry on.”
