Poppy theft suspect arrested

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of the theft of poppy collection boxes in Warrington.
The arrest was made around lunchtime today at an address in Latchford, Warrington.
The 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of a number of thefts involving poppy collection boxes in Warrington and at Frodsham.
He will be interviewed by detectives later today.
Earlier police had revealed they were searching for Bradley Higham, aged 33, who they believed lived in the Birchwood area, in connection with the thefts and
appealed to him to give himself up as soon as possible.
Thefts have taken place in Culcheth, Padgate, Grappenhall, Frodsham and Chester.
