War dead remembered

MEMBERS of Lymm and District Royal British Legion standard bearers are pictured during a two minute silence at Lymm Cross earlier today to mark Armistice Day.
There was also a service in Warrington town centre in the Old Market Place as the war dead from various conflicts were remembered on the 11th hour of the 11th day 2011.
Meanwhile there will be a remembrance service parade at Bridgefoot in Warrington Town Centre on Sunday at 11am which will involved road closures.
Members of the public wishing to attend are advised to be in place before 10.45am.
