THE chance to sample Mexican food and try Zumba dancing is being offered to girls in Warrington.
A new “get active” youth club for girls aged 11-19 launches on Thursday October 27 from 6-9pm at Callands Children’s Centre, Callands Road.
The new club aims to give local girls the chance to socialise, volunteer and take part in a range of exciting workshops.
Sessions will take place every Thursday from 6-9pm and will involve a mixture of activities and issue-based workshops. There is no need to book and girls can just turn up on the night.
Future themes will include health and fitness, careers and training, body image and diet. There will also be activities such as dance, fitness training, games, karaoke and sports.
