Three arrested after Subway robbery

THREE men have been arrested following a robbery at a subway sandwich bar at Great Sankey, Warrington at the weekend.
The Three men from Merseyside have been granted bail pending further investigation following the robbery on Saturday just after 9.15pm when officers responded to an alarm activation at Subway, Liverpool Road, Great Sankey.
Two men burst into the premises armed with a screwdriver and a saw, and made demands for cash from the till.
The pair made their getaway in a waiting car driven by a third man.
Local police responded swiftly and two men aged 25 and a 20 year old man from Huyton were subsequently arrested in the Merseyside area on suspicion of robbery.
Following interview by detectives over the course of the weekend, the men have been granted police bail until December 12.
Nobody was injured during the incident and the staff at the store at the time were unharmed.
