A CHARITY that supports families in need throughout Warrington received a £506 boost following a quiz night at Appleton Parish Hall.
The money goes to St. Josephs Family Centre, Museum Street. The Catholic charity provided services and support to families across Warrington irrespective of religious affiliation.
The evening, which included a hotpot, was organised by Warrington Catenians – a brotherhood of Catholic business and professional men.
The first prize of vouchers went to a team from Brooklands Catenians, who presented their prizes to their wives who formed another team. Runners up were a team from St Monica’s Parish, Appleton.
