WARRINGTON Wolves star Ryan Atkins will start the Brainwave charity Santa Dash at Birchwood Shopping Centre on Saturday, December 10 at 10am.
Funds raised will go towards the charity’s work helping children with disabilities.
Ryan, an ambassador for the charity, said: “The Santa Dash is a great way to start the festive season, and also to help a wonderful children’s charity that supports many local Warrington families.”
Participants can jog, run or walk the 5k route starting from the shopping centre, passing through Risley Moss Park and returning to the centre.
Festive music will be played during the day and all dashers will receive a goody bag. There will be face painting, a Santa Jive warm up and spot prizes for the best costumes.
