Company picks up two awards

CONSTRUCTION services company Morris and Spottiswood picked up two awards at the Co-operative Food’s first Property Awards held at Lancashire County Cricket Club.
Richard Magnall, (pictured) based at Morris and Spottiswood’s Warrington office, won “Outstanding Individual Contribution of the Year.”
The judges comment was: “Richard’s passion for all things Co-operative means he is regularly consulted by others on best practice and how to implement improvements.”
The company also won the “Community Champion” award in recognition of their support for the communities they work in. They were also one of four shortlisted for the “Outstanding Organisation of the Year” category.
The awards ceremony, which recognised the support and specific contribution from The Co-operative Food’s property suppliers, was in aid of The Co-operative Group’s charity of the Year Mencap and ENABLE Scotland.
Morris and Spottiswood chief executive Chris Saxton, said: “This is a great recognition by the Co-operative to all our teams who have been involved and contributed so much in delivering the Co-operative roll out workload.”
