A TWO-day event starts today (Thursday) in Warrington to help raise awareness of the early symptoms of breast cancer.
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is staging the event at Hancock and Wood, Bridge Street. Leaflets and information on detecting the early signs of the disease will be available, together with a Teddy Tombola.
Organiser Jules Roberts said: “October is breast cancer awareness month. I have breast cancer but sadly it has spread into both of my lungs.
“My legacy is to tell as many people as possible how to detect the early signs and symptoms, early detection saves lives. Sadly I didn’t detect it early enough. Help me to help others be free of the fear of this terrible disease”
