APPLETON’S Emma Barlow walked away with two awards at the annual presentation dinner of the Cheshire Women’s 
Cricket League at Hazel Grove.
Former England opening bowler Lucy Pearson – now head teacher of Cheadle Hulme School, was guest of honour and presented the prizes.
Emma, (right) captain of the Appleton side, led her team to a second successive league title but also won the division one batting award for the third successive year.
She scored a total of 441 runs during the season.
Emma and several other members of the Appleton women’s team frequently play for the Lyons Lane club’s men’s team also.
