Green transport to go on show

0

“GREEN” transport will be the theme of a display in Warrington’s Old Market Place on Saturday, between 9am and 5pm.
There will be a range of pedal bikes which shoppers can try out, including some specially adapted for less-able cyclists.
Shoppers can also take along their own bike for a free maintenance check and small repairs, find out about free cycle training courses and pick up advice on cycling to work and for leisure.
A new type of bus from Network Warrington will also be on display as well as information on routes and ticket availability.
Experts will also be on hand to give advice on travelling to school and how people can reduce their carbon footprint and stay safe as the mornings and evenings get darker.
