Coach blaze on motorway

FIRE crews from Warrington were called out this morning to deal with a blaze involving a coach.
The vehicle was on a car park on the Burtonwood Service Area on the M62 and the engine compartment was well alight when two fire engines arrived at the scene.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using two hose reel jets.
Earlier, fire crews had dealt with a blaze involving a large industrial skip close to a house on Carpenter Grove, Fearnhead – again using a hose reel jet
In another operation, crews extinguished a wheelie bin that had been set ablaze in Collin Street, Bewsey.
