A chance to be a nature detective

CHILDREN have the chance to turn “detective” at a special summer event being held in Warrington.
The Woodland Trust is inviting youngsters to a Nature Detectives Club meeting at Seeds Plantation, Callands Road, on Saturday September 3.
A spokesperson said: “These monthly clubs offer children and their families the opportunity to get outdoors and explore and enjoy their local woods – if the weather is bad, there are lots of entertaining things to do inside.”
The club is free, and all children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult, and places must be booked. On the day participants should meet at The Hoop and Mallet Pub, Callands Road, at 10.30am.
