Arts festival deadline looms

ARTISTS and performers wanting to join in Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival should sign up as the deadline is approaching.
The month-long community event starts on September 24 in the Cultural Quarter and will celebrate the wealth of artistic talent in the region.
The festival aims to highlight the growing support and interest in contemporary arts in and around Warrington from the performing and visual arts sector.
It will include exhibitions, a public art trail, performances and displays of a wide range of contemporary arts at various venues including; Warrington Museum and Art Gallery, The Gallery At Bank Quay House and Pyramid and Parr Hall.

Artists can submit contemporary work in four categories – Contemporary Open Exhibition, Arts and Craft Fair, Artist Engagement and Film Screening.
