Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 1, 4, 7 and 12. The jackpot prize was not claimed and will be rolled-over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was awarded to a member of hospital staff.

PLANS to convert vacant offices and workshops at Cliffe Lane, Grappenhall, have been approved by Warrington planning chiefs.

Nine mile walk
RANGERS from Walton Gardens are to lead a circular walk of nine miles around Hatton and Daresbury tomorrow (Sunday). The walk starts from the Walton Gardens car park at 11am.
