Town reveal new signings

WARRINGTON Town manager Joey Dunn has revealed his first new signings for the forthcoming season.
Centre forward Jamie Henders, aged 24, has signed from fellow Evo-Stik North outfit Cammel Lairds.
Jamie was at Warrington briefly under Paul Moore three years ago but never got a decent chance to perform.
He has spent the summer training with Evo-Stik Premier league team Marine but has opted to rejoin Warrington.
Joey (pictured right) said: “Jamie has been training with us and is really impresssed by how much the club has progressed on and off the field since he was last here.
“He scored a cracking goal against us last season when we played at Cammel Laird and I am sure he can do a good job for us here at Warrington.”
He has been joined by Liam Johnson, a 25-year-old Wigan based left sided midfielder who was playing in Australia last year.
Dunn is hoping to announce a couple of other new signings before the season kicks off on August 16.
Players who have left the club during the close season include Gavin Salmon (Salford), Alan Collins (Skelmersdale) and Mike Tomlinson (Retired.)

  1. Good to see Jamie back with the club, looked a good player in his one previous appearance for the club, a 1-1 draw at Skelmersdale. Scored a cracking goal against us last year, looks like a very useful signing for the club, especially as he a thick set centre forward, the type we have been missing in the previous season, welcome back Jamie, and welcome to the club to Liam
