Stretton Walking Day

WET weather didn’t deter people from taking part in the annual Stretton Walking Day which brought the curtain down on walking day season in Warrington.
Ten-year-old Sophie Leigh (pictured right) from St Matthew’s Primary School was crowned Rose Queen taking over from 11-year-old Eleanor Harrold during the special ceremony at St Matthew’s Church.
Following the walk a fete took place on St Matthew’s Church school playing fields.
