Firm celebrates 75 years

FASTENER manufacturer Avdel – which employs 250 people at its Warrington plant – celebrated its 75th anniversary by launching a new product.
The NeoSpeed fastener is claimed to take speeed fastening technology to a new level.
Celebrations included a tour of the Warrington plant and presentations on products and the history of the company founded by Stanley T. Johnson in Surrey in 1936 and now part of a major global group
Randy Teo, chief executive officer of parent company Infastech told visitors: “The Warrington operation you are visiting will help to confirm our company
commitment to lean manufacturing, a safe workplace and a culture of profitable expansion driven by innovative products and technologies”.
