Remembering victims of terrorism

REPRESENTATIVES of Warrington’s Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace are attending a special ceremony in London’s Hyde Park today (Thursday).
The small commemoration ceremony is taking place on the sixth anniversary of the 7/7 attacks on London.
The ceremony, organised by Survivors of Terrorism and the foundation will take place at the Hyde Park memorial. After a minutes silence Thelma Stober, Nicola Stanley, Jacqui Putnam and Sudhesh Dahad will speak about their experiences before the names of all those who died in the bombings are read aloud.
Following the reading of names, flowers will be laid by attendees.
Paulo Pimentel from Survivors of Terrorism, said: “We need to remember and respect those who lost their lives and those whose lives have changed forever following the horrific events of that day.”
