EMPLOYERS will be on hand at a Warrington business event to talk about how training and development paid dividends not only for their businesses but also their staff and the community as a whole.
Warrington Borough Council, Jobcentre Plus and the National Apprenticeship Service are holding the event, aimed at businesses, on Wednesday July 6, from 3pm – 5pm at the Pyramid Centre.
Cllr Terry O’Neill, leader of the borough council, said: “We want to demonstrate to young people in Warrington that they are important and that we will do all we can to support them. We aim to create as many new apprenticeships as possible for young people throughout the borough and I would encourage businesses of any size to provide this invaluable opportunity.”
As well as local employers, Jobcentre Plus and the National Apprenticeship Service will explain about how work experience and apprenticeships can work for you.
To book a place, contact Gill Sunderland, Warrington Borough Council, on 01925 443184 or via email: [email protected].
