Man taken to hospital after crash

A MAN was taken to hospital at Warrington after being released from his car following a crash on the M62.
The crash, on the eastbound carriageway, involved two cars but the occupants of the other vehicle escaped serious injury.
Fire crews were called to the scene yesterday and used cutting gear to remove the roof from one car to enable the trapped driver to be released.
He was taken to Warrington Hospital suffering from neck and back injuries.
