FOUR people have been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis factory in Warrington, police revealed today.
Two men and two women were arrested following a raid on a property in White Street last Wednesday (June 1) at around 4.30pm.
Officers seized a quantity of annabis from inside the property and took it away for forensic examination.
The four arrested were a 19-year-old man, a 43-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman and a 30-year-old woman and helped police with their enquiries throughout the day. Later, they were charged.
Sergeant Neil Drum, of Warrington Town Centre Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: “We are committed to tackling drug related crime within the local community. Drug related activity is not acceptable and we will continue to proactively target the issue
“Information from members of the public is vital in the fight against drug related crime. We would urge anyone with any information in relation to suspected drug use and supply in the town centre to contact us – even the smallest amount of information can be vital when piecing together a case.”
