Teenager attacked by gang

A TEENAGE boy was attacked by a gang of five or six men as he walked along a footpath in Warrington.
The attack took place on a footpath opposite a newsagents’ shop in Glover Road, Locking Stumps.
Police say the 15-year-old was knocked to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked by two of the men. He later required treatment at Warrington Hospital where he was found to have bruising to the head and a broken nose.
One of the offender is said to be about 19, 6ft 1 inches tall and of medium build. He was wearing black clothing and dark trainers. The other was about the same age, about 6ft tall and of medium build. He was also wearing dark clothing
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at around 10pm on Friday May 13. Anyone who can help is urged to call PC Paul Fairhurst on 0845 458 0000. Information can also be left anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
