MOORE United Veterans returned home with their first piece of silverware having secured the Over 35’s title at the Cheshire Veterans League annual 6 a side competition.
United battled through nine matches and a sudden death penalty shootout where to seal the victory Kris Taylor fired home.
Moore secured the group stages with victories over Willaston, Plumley, Warrington Grange and the semi-finals and final over home based team Egerton.
Moore Assistant Manager Scott Taylor jubilantly quoted “This is only the beginning!”
