Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 2, 5, 15 and 16 – but no-one drew them! The jackpot prize will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was won by a member of hospital staff.

Gardens show
TEN gardens at Rixton and Glazebrook, near Warrington, are open to the public today. There will also be an art exhibition, refreshments and a scarecrow trail. Admission is £3 and children go free.

Village barbecue
A BARBECUE is being held at All Saints Church Parish Hall, Thelwall, tomorrow (Sunday) between 4pm and 6pm. As well as food there will be games, a quiz, singing and a music workshop. Admission is free.

Cottage plan
PLANS for a two-storey side extension and open front porch at 2, Oaktree Cottages, Hatton Lane, Stretton have been refused by Warrington planning bosses.

Druid beliefs
THE Rev Vernon Marshall – a Unitarian minister but also a Druid Master, will speak on Druidic belief and practices at a meeting at Cairo Street Chapel, Warrington on Monday, starting at 7pm.

Reunion
