Multi-cultural festival

WARRINGTON is to experience is first Mela – a traditional Asian festival – on Sunday July 24.
The event is being organised by Warrington Ethnic Communities Association, in co-operation with the borough council.
Set in the Parr Hall and Queens Gardens, there will be dance, music, good and fashion from across the world.
Although a mela is traditionally an Asian festival, the Warrington event will represent other cultures with a presence in the town, including the Polish community.
Admission will be free.
