Man stabbed outside home

A MAN was stabbed in three places when he was attacked by a group of three or four men outside his home at Warrington early today.
The attack took place at the rear of a house in Vulcan Close, Padgate at about 12.40am.
Police said the victim, aged 51, went out to investigate after hearing a noise at the back of his house.
He was attacked by three or four men as he opened the back gate and suffered stab wounds to his back, leg and stomach. The weapon is not known, but it was a sharp implement, according to police.
Fortunately, his wounds were superficial.

    I thought that knives were sharp instruments anyway. This gobbledygook talk of the police is SO unnecessary.
