Culcheth Community Day

GLORIOUS weather ensured a bumper turn out at the annual Culcheth Community Day near Warrington.
Chairman of Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council Cllr Helena Campbell will officially openend the event.
Attractions included Ridgeway Falconry, Tyldsley Brass Band, Trumble the Clown, Academy Karate Display, a pet show and a tug of war competition between local pubs.
There were also stalls and sideshows, children’s rides, classic cars and motor cycles and various local charities, voluntary groups and clubs displaying what they have to offer.
Pictures show Trumble the Clown entertaining youngsters Patric Wilson aged 11 (L) and Eddie Marsden aged 12 playing the Roll the Ball game.
