Hospital lottery
A JACKPOT prize of £932 was paid out to the winner of the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital. Winning numbers were 3,8, 12 and 15. A consolation prize of £25 was also paid out to a member of hospital staff.

Extension refused
A PLANNING inspector has rejected an appeal by a householder in Edward Gardens, Woolston, against the refusal by Warrington Borough Council to grant permission for a single storey home extension.

Easter music
THE Owen Wynne Chorale is to present a performance of The Crucifixion tomorrow (Sunday) at 3pm at St Werburgh’s Church, Warburton.

Craft fair
A CRAFT fair and table top sale takes place at St Thomas’s Church Hall, Ellesmere Road, Stockton Heath on Saturday, April 30, starting at 11am. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Car show
A VINTAGE car show is being staged at Walton Hall, Warrington, tomorrow (Sunday) by Chester Vintage Car Club. Vintage, veteran and classic cars will be on view from 10.30am.
