FIRE crews from Warrington were called to a report of a building on fire at a farm – but discovered on arrival that it was intentional burning of rubbish on open land which had got out of control.
The blaze was at Tenements Farm, Millhouse Lane, Croft.
Two fire engines arrived at the scene and firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. There was no damage to property.
