GRAPPENHALL Cricket Club is to hold a special “England Legends v Grappers” match at their Broad Lane ground to mark the club’s 130th anniversary.
The match will take place on Tuesday, August 30 and the cricket legends playing will include Andrew (Freddie) Flintoff, Michael Vaughan, Graeme Hick and former Grappenhall protege Neil Fairbrother, the ex-Lancashire star who came out of retirement last year to help the club win promotion to the Premier division of the Cheshire County League.
There will be a chance to meet the stars at a question and answer session after the game.
