Masked men rob sandwich bar

POLICE at Warrington today appealed for information from the public after a sandwich bar was robbed.
It was just after 8pm on Thursday evening when two men entered the Subway shop on Liverpool Road, Great Sankey and demanded access to the safe. They were armed with a knife and a hammer.
Both men were dressed in dark clothing and had made attempts to conceal their faces with scarves. When they were unable to gain access to the safe they stole the contents of the till and left.
None of the staff on duty at the time were injured as a result of the incident. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Warrington CID on 0845 458 0000 or alternatively information can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
