FIVE Members of Lymm Gendai Martial Arts Club, Lee Wright 2nd Dan, Kay Fletcher 1st Dan, Ellie Fletcher 1st Dan, Christan Birchall 2nd Dan and Dave Tovell 2nd Dan, showing their respective certificates in Shotokan Karate.
All attended a recent brown and black belt course and were successful in obtaining their black belt grading.
In recognition of the progress that they have made in the art of Karate, Sensei Dave Shipton said: “I am very proud of them all, they have trained very hard to obtain their black belt grading”.
They have all been training with Lymm Gendai Martial Arts for a number of years. The club is run by Sensei Shipton at Lymm High School.
He is a 5th Dan with years of experience and is respected by all who train with him.
Joining the club has shown to build children’s confidence, self awareness and respect for others.
