Day of fun for Comic Relief

ACTIVITIES ranging from a space hopper race to pelting tutors with eggs and flour were carried out at Priestley College, Warrington, for Comic Relief.
Staff and students joined in the fun and helped raise £850.
A Battle of the Bands took centre stage in the Wicked Cafe, and elsewhere there was a space hopper race in the Sports Hall, Zorbing Football on the playing fields and a cake sale in the Crescent Reception.
A number of brave tutors put themselves forward for the customary egg and flouring, while a staff versus students football match took place alongside a soccer tournament for tutor groups on the college’s all weather facilities.
College marketing officer Nat Ashurst said: “A lot of planning went into the events this year and it was great to see the entire college community united in a common goal, to raise as much money as possible for Comic Relief.”
