ANYONE who buys plants at a sale in Stockton Heath on Saturday May 7 will be helping Scouts take part in adventurous activities.
The 4th Warrington Scout Group (Stockton Heath) is organising its annual bedding plant sale at its headquarters in Parkgate Road from 10am to 2pm.
A group spokesperson said: “Profits from the event will be used to maintain the Scout Centre and to encourage young people to take part in challenging adventurous activities.”
There will be more than 20 varieties of plants for sale including Impatiens, Sweet Pea and Pansy, together with a selection of wicker hanging baskets, all sourced from the usual high-quality local growers.
