Boost for community centre

RETIREMENT home developers McCarthy & Stone have provided a £2,000 boost for Oughtrington Community Centre.

McCarthy & Stone has been granted planning permission to build 38 one and two bedroom Retirement Living apartments and communal facilities at the Booths Hill Road site in Lymm.
Deborah Bond, Regional Marketing Manager for McCarthy & Stone, said “We are delighted to have been granted planning permission for a much-needed Retirement Living development in Lymm. Locally, there is a real demand for retirement accommodation and this new development marks a substantial investment in the area.”
“To celebrate this welcoming news, we donated £2,000 to the Oughtrington Community Centre with whom we have a longstanding engagement with.”
Construction will begin on the new development in June 2011, with first occupations anticipated in July 2012.
