NORTH West Air Ambulance, which provides a £4 million a year emergency service for the region has been given a boost by the people of Stockton Heath and Appleton.
Stockton Heath Parish Council has approved a grant of £350 towards the service while members of Appleton Parish Council – who were told the air ambulance had recently been called to an incident in the parish, awarded a grant of £1,000.
